Will there be a demo ?
Yes, that's very much an absolute need to be honest.
However, before a demo, there are many many steps to be handled and for that I have a little idea.
First of all, what's a game demo for me ?
On my part, a game demo is when a game is actually finished in therm of what you actually can do in the game, fonctionalities are all there, menu system is the same as the final product, the visuals are final, the gameplay is too.
So what's the difference ? Well, you can't access the full content.
My demo will be, or rather I want it to be exactly that. All is working as a final product, for my game, I'm planing to have 6 dungeons, but in my demo you'll be able to play 1. Even if you'll be able to play only 1, you'll be able to get gear, go as high as you can with the difficulties and the gear grinding, all of that should be there at that time.
So before the demo, there is a lot of work to be done, so here is my plan towards the demo :
I'd like a playable version of the game on the 9th of mai 2026 at 5 PM UCT+1 . That will be with the placeholder visuals etc, and here, what I'll need, is general "feeling". Feedbacks that actually says : "This makes no sens, get rid of it" , or "when I do that spells, I don't feel like it does anything, it should make a bigger sound !"
To have feedbacks, you'll need to actually have the game right ? Well if the 9th of may is when I can release it, that'll be the date where you'll have first hand on the first playable version, and from there, when major changes will be done or x amout of feedbacks will be treated, new version will become available etc.
At some point, If I keep going, we shall meet a date that will be the demo's one. Right ?
